By President Frank Dowlin
August 28, 2015

It's with the deepest regrets the Red Knights Pennsylvania Chapter 2 announce the passing of Brian Gallagher Deputy Chief of the Phoenixville Fire Department. Brian has been a member of the club since 2002 and always supported us whenever possible.

Brian spent his entire career in the field of emergency services and life safety. He began his career at Chester County Department of Emergency Services as a Dispatcher in the Fireboard. He later transferred to the Fire Marshal’s office where he led the juvenile fire setter’s counseling program. Brian served as Deputy Chief Fire Marshal for several years until his retirement. Brian was also a Code Enforcement Official for several municipalities. Most recently, Brian operated his own business providing Fire Investigation and Code Enforcement services to municipalities and businesses.

Brian rides a Harley Electra Glide which is all done up to a firefighter theme from lighting, sirens, to the gold leaf pin stripping a bike that he was always very proud of, In 2008 President Dowlin asked Brian if the club could use his bike as part of the header on the then new web site, Brian was ecstatic that we would want his bike he sent the President picture of it from every angle you can imagine, Brian's bike remains to this day the featured bike on our web site header.

Brian will be deeply missed by not only the Red Knights but to the Chester County Emergency Services to which he dedicated his life serving

Our deepest condolences to his family and the Phoenixville Fire Department, you all remain in our thoughts and prayers
