| For at least the last four or five years, I have requested coworkers to fill Salvation Army Christmas stockings for me to deliver to SalVal's main collection site on Broad Street in center city. While the donations have shrunk a bit from better financial times, it's still an enjoyable lunchtime sidecar ride to deliver the filled stockings, board games and cash.
This year, we had at least 11 people contribute to a full box of gifts. They were delivered by me, proudly wearing my Red Knights colors. SalVal personnel always remember me and thank me for our annual giving.
