| On Tuesday Evening December 9, 2008 the Red Knight Chapter 2 held their monthly meeting and yearly Christmas party at the Swedeland Fire Company in Montgomery County.
The meeting was called to order around 1938 with twenty two (22) members present minutes and reports where all read in and some polar bear ride's where announced and some other good for the club thing's, all in all it was a quick meeting adjourning at 1950.
Club member and some of their families then enjoyed an evening of getting to know one another and talking amongst each other. The club provided food for everyone the menu included meatballs, Italian sausage, meat and vegetable trays, potato and pasta salads, bake beans, cake, pie's, cookies.
The 50/50 was done giving the club's half toward the fellow Red Knight in need Jerry Morton from Idaho Chapter 2. The Winner of this was Walt Mitchell who also gave his portion to Jerry. Other member made contributions to the pot and Jerry will be receiving a check from the club for $107.00.
As President I would like to thank everyone that came out to enjoy this evening and to all club members from my family to yours wish everyone a happy and SAFE holiday season.
