| April 4 2015 PA Chapter 2 participated in the 11th Annual Pennsylvania Bunny Run 2015 sponsored by The Psycho Warriors Motorcycle Riding Club. We met at the Hummelstown Fire Department and ate a hot breakfast. The meeting was called to order at 9:30am by Rich Fanning and Timothy Greiner and explained the Bunny Ride and how it came about. No one ever thought this run would last this long! This year over 1,100 stuffed animals were collected to be given to the 15 Hospitals and 2 Ronald McDonald Houses. It is the hope of the committee at some point that every hospital in Pennsylvania will receive bunnies during the Bunny Ride. There were about 200 M/C including a lot of doubles. The first stop was Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. At this point, we broke up into smaller groups. Bob Hogan and RP Scott went to Classic Harley-Davidson in Reading PA to pickup our bunnies for delivery to St Joseph Med Center and Reading Hospital in Reading PA. Every member of the team took the bunnies into the Hospital Pediatrics area of the children rooms. Next we went to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. After a visit to the Pediatrics area, we were finished and on our way home. I hope that our Chapter can donate a stuffed bunny even if you can not participate in the ride so the goal can be for all Pennsylvania children in a medical facility may receive their Easter Bunny!
