On Saturday July 8th 2017 members of the Red Knights met up at the Wawa at 10 & 30 in Parkesburg at 7am, today's ride was to the several spots including Bart Fire Company for Breakfast, Pa. Pump Primer in Harrisburg, and Gettysburg Bike Week.

Before heading to Harrisburg members and guest traveled to the Bart Fire Company for their monthly breakfast, if you never been to Bart Breakfast it said to be one of the best in the area with most if not all of its food fresh from the Amish community.

After a great breakfast it was off to Harrisburg the Pa. Pump Primer is do along the Susquehanna River in Riverfront Park off of front street. We arrived there around 930am early enough to check out many of the antique and fire memorabilia collectors along the river selling things.

At 10am the parade of apparatus started lining the river and taking over the park. Units along the river quickly set up and started pulling drafts and charging their master streams making an unbelievable sight along to river front.

After a few hours it was time to head out to Gettysburg Bike Week. After several hours in Gettysburg the members headed home.
All in all it was a great day for a ride, members really enjoyed all the events throughout the day.

Members attended: R.P. Scott, Shannon Dowlin, Chris Wilkinson, Frank Dowlin, Ken Boyd, Paige Boyd, Joan Vansant

Bob Hogan and Ray Kolb also attended breakfast but was unable to go to Harrisburg or Gettysburg
