On Saturday August 5th, 2017, the Red Knights Pa 2 traveled to the Honey Brook Fire Company to join and help them celebrate 125 years of dedicated service to their community.

The club was contacted a few months back about providing escorts for the day, the detail consisted of escorting apparatus from the judging area to the staging area across town.

The club arrived in around 0800 and escorts started shortly after, all in all over 100 trucks were registered for the parade.

Following our detail, the club was given the opportunity to ride in the parade. The community lined the streets to show Honey Brook their appreciation.

The day turned out great for Honey Brook, you could not have asked for any better weather and the turnout was great from fire companies near and far.

Following the hosing ceremonies, the trophy presentations began, and to our surprise the club was awarded a JUDGES AWARD trophy.

The Red Knights Pa 2 would like to Thank the Honey Brook Fire Company for their hospitality throughout the day, and again would like to congratulate them on 125 years of service, JOB WELL DONE on this event.

Red Knights members in attendance: Chris Wilkenson, Andy Powell, Doug Dowlin, Shannon Dowlin, Bob Lotz, Ken Boyd, Paige Boyd, Joan Vansant, Frank Dowlin, Marcus Pearce, and friend of the club Bruce (Bubba) Mitchell President Kennett Fire Company
