| The Red Helmet Ride. Red Knights from chapters PA 2- pA15-PA33-NY26 met at Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg PA. They then Road to Walkersville Fire Company in Maryland. Where they met up with other read night chapters. And motorcyclists from all around. We left Walkersville Fire Company in A procession two the national firefighter Academy in Millersville Maryland. For the national Fallen firefighters Memorial. Where we paid respect to those firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2016. We were met at the gates of the firefighter Academy buy a firefighter dressed in his full class A uniform saluting us. We then were invited to a ceremony and a wreath Laying. We walked around the grounds for a while. And then we said our goodbyes. And headed back home. We stopped and ate dinner in Gettysburg and the chapter split up to finish their trip home. The weather was beautiful and we were all grateful to pay our respects to our fallen brothers and sisters. |
