Club Attends Go Bald for St Baldrick's Event

According to statistics, a child is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes. But because of research over the last several decades, those diagnosed today have been given a chance to fight.

On Sunday, April 14, 2019, The Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company hosted the third annual Go Bald with St. Baldrick's, a community event dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research.

At our March meeting event organizes attended asking us to come out and support this event.

Club members traveled to the event and enjoyed things like Victory Beer, That’ll Do BBQ, Pelican's SnoBalls, as well as a local fire and ems apparatus and our motorcycles were on display,.

During the event President Dowlin presented a check for $200 to help support the cause, The event as a whole raised close to $30,000!!
