| Today August 26, 2017 members from Red Knights Pa 2 met up with some member from Lancaster Pa Chapter 33 to take a ride into the City of Philadelphia to the Fireman’s Museum.
The two chapter met at East Whiteland Fire Company (Chester County Station 5) and took the 30 mile ride into the city arriving at the Philadelphia Fire Museum. Club members then spent well over and hour in the museum looking at the great history of not only the Philadelphia Fire Department but of Firefighting in general which as everyone know was started by Benjiman Franklin right in the city of brotherly love.
Following the museum stop the two chapters then traveled across town to the all famous Pat’s Steaks and or Geno’s Steaks, the two chapter enjoy each other hospitality over a great lunch.
Chapters then headed for home riding together until members started splitting off in West Chester area, all in all it was a great day for a ride and everyone much enjoyed it.
We like to Thank Chapter 33 for joining us on this ride and hope we can get together for more great riding in the near future. |
