| On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Red Knights PA Chapter 2 hosted the Annual State Association Meeting, Ride, and Picnic. This yearly event takes place on the same weekend each year, with hosting duties rotating among chapters. PA Chapter 2 was awarded the honor to host at last years picnic and welcomed riders from across the state.
Red Knights from all over Pennsylvania arrived on Friday and stayed at local hotels. The weekend began with a Friday night dinner at Timothy's Lionville, held from 7 to 9 p.m.
On Saturday morning, riders gathered at Lionville Fire Company for the Annual Picnic Ride. This ride gives the host chapter an opportunity to showcase the local area. Starting at 0830, the group was escorted by motorcycle officers from the Upper Uwchlan Police Department. The ride included stops at Twin Valley Fire Department, Minquas Fire Company, West Chester Harley Davidson, and a 9/11 Memorial in Coatesville. The ride concluded around 1230 at Westwood Fire Company for the meeting and picnic.
Due to the threat of bad weather, only a small group participated in the ride. Those who joined rode 73 miles without stopping, thanks to Officers Dan and Sergeant Brian from Upper Uwchlan PD, who did a tremendous job clearing intersections. Appreciation is also extended to Downingtown Police Department and fire police from Downingtown Fire Department, West Bradford Fire Company, and Modena Fire Company for their support.
At Westwood, attendees had the opportunity to purchase basket raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, PA Chapter 2 challenge coins, and annual football tickets.
Lunch was served by Traditions Catering, witch was cover fully by 1-800 Board Up / Belfor Property Restoration . Following lunch, PA State President Don Brandt led a meeting that lasted about an hour.
This event required careful planning and was made possible by the sponsors and donors who contributed raffle basket items.
