| On Sunday November 7 2010 Twelve members of the Red Knights Pa Chapter 2 meet at Assistant Ride Captain Andy Powell for coffee and doughnuts before heading to Philadelphia for the 2010 toy run.
This ride has been going on for over 30 years, but sadly this was going to be the last ride due to logistical problems. This year's ride had people from 11 states, and reportedly had 30,000 motorcycles. The ride was lead by organizer Denny Waldman also a proud member of our club and ironically Santa received a set of Red Knight Pa 2 colors for the ride.
The ride goes through the city and ends at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. At the hospital motorcyclist get the chance to walk through the hospital and meet some of the kid this is a very overwhelming experience.
The Red Knights Pa 2 would like to thank ABATE and Denny Waldman for your years of contribution's and dedication to this great event, we hope that we can help in whatever way you decide to head with getting the toys to the kids in years to come.
GREAT JOB GUYS, IT WAS A GREAT RIDE!!!! |
